About The Manitowoc Breakwater Lighthouse

The Manitowoc Breakwater Lighthouse has guarded the harbor of Manitowoc, WI since 1918.

The Lighthouse is privately owned by Mr. Phil Carlucci of Long Island, New York. With his support, the Manitowoc Sunrise Rotary Club has spent the last several years carefully renovating and restoring the structure’s historic appearance. Now, in 2025, the Wisconsin Maritime Museum is both honored and pleased to be able to assist with the interpretation and preservation of this storied beacon in our home harbor.
