USS Lagarto Remembrance Ceremony

Join us for our annual Remembrance Ceremony for the crew of USS Lagarto (SS 371). The ceremony honors the Manitowoc-built sub and crew that were lost on May 3, 1945. It will take place on the deck of USS Cobia and guests are welcome to view the ceremony from the riverwalk.

45th Midwestern Model Ships & Boats Contest

05/13 - 05/15

Check out the Midwest’s longest-running model contest and vote on your favorite! The models will be on display to the public Saturday and Sunday. Friday is a model setup. Model registration information will be posted closer to the event.

Museum Ships Amateur Radio Weekend

This annual event is sponsored by The Battleship New Jersey Amateur Radio Station. The Cobia Amateur Radio Club will be set up in the Crew’s Mess aboard Cobia all weekend, reaching out to museum ships and amateur radio fans around the world! More information will be available closer to the event.

SUBFEST @ Fourth on the Shore!

There’s something for everyone! Come celebrate the 4th of July in Manitowoc at this lakeside celebration, including live music all day, food, self-guided submarine tours, fireworks, kid-friendly activities, a parade, and so much more! Sound the dive alarm, press the torpedo firing button, sleep in the sub, check out the nooks and crannys, and enjoy more interactive activities on USS Cobia. Groups, families, and individuals can participate in our interactive submarine overnight, offered year round.

Event Rentals

The Wisconsin Maritime Museum offers a variety of facilities that can be rented for private and public events, corporate meetings, seminars, and presentations.  Consider hosting your next event at our unique venue!

Sub Pub on the Water

The Sub Pub opens on Memorial Day and runs through Labor Day every year. Come up to the Roof Deck to enjoy the downtown view and sunset along the river and with a view of Lake Michigan and a cash bar.
