Plein Air Paint Out

The Wisconsin Maritime Museum and the Rahr-West Art Museum are thrilled to announce Paint Out 2024! We are so excited to be able to make this annual event happen through this collaboration.
We encourage the public to join in and paint along, engage with professional artist demonstrations, and enjoy the scenery of the lakefront and downtown Manitowoc from the Wisconsin Maritime Museum rooftop deck.
Free for all ages and open to the public!
What is plein air painting?
En plein air (in open air) is the act of painting outdoors, utilizing the landscape as a direct reference.
Please bring your own art supplies if you wish to create along.
