Think & Drink – Ice Age Trail: Carved By Millennia
May 1 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Join the Wisconsin Maritime Museum for a fascinating evening exploring one of Wisconsin’s most remarkable natural landmarks during our Think & Drink speaker series on Thursday, May 1st, at 6:30 PM.
Our featured guest, Dolly McNulty, will present on the prehistoric Ice Age Trail, a 1,200-mile footpath that winds through Wisconsin and tells the story of glaciers that shaped the landscape over 12,000 years ago. Dolly brings a wealth of experience and passion to the topic—she has been an active member of the Ice Age Trail Alliance for over 30 years, including multiple terms on the Board of Directors. She currently serves as the treasurer for the Lakeshore Chapter.
The Ice Age Trail is not only a scenic gem but also a living museum of geological history. Dolly will share insights into the trail’s origins, the effort it takes to maintain it, and how it continues to connect communities and preserve Wisconsin’s natural beauty. Come grab a drink, engage with history, and learn how local volunteers like Dolly are preserving this ancient trail for future generations.Doors and bar open at 6:00pm. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at the limited bar. The evening’s featured drink will be the Glacier Aide. The talk and livestream portion begin at 6:30pm.
