Shipwreck Day!

The Wisconsin Maritime Museum invites you to dive into the wonderful world of shipwrecks and underwater archaeology with “Shipwreck Day” on Saturday April 20th, 2024 from 10:00am-3:00pm. Join us for a day filled with hands-on shipwreck activities, including a book signing with Sunken author Kathy Groth and a Q&A with an underwater archaeologist!
Free youth admission (12 years old and under) on April 20th is being sponsored by the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation and the Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast National Marine Sanctuary.
All children must be accompanied by an adult when visiting the museum.
Schedule:
10:00am-4:00pm – Museum and Submarine Open
10:00am-3:00pm – Shipwreck Activities throughout the Museum
11:00am – Sunken: Shipwrecks of Lake Michigan book talk and signing with Author Kathy Groth
1:30pm – Ask an Underwater Archaeologist!
