Public Exhibit Opening: Turning the Tide – The Role of Manitowoc’s LCTs in WWII

Visit us on Saturday, June 8 and walk through our newest exhibit: Turning the Tide – The Role of Manitowoc’s LCTs in WWII!

The Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company built more than just submarines for WWII. They were also the lead shipyard for building Landing Craft, Tanks (LCT)-5s and designed the first LCT-6. This exhibit explores the impact these vessels had in the production of 1,465 LCTs, as well as their role on D-Day and other key battles of WWII.

Admission to the exhibit is included with regular Museum admission. WMM Members are always free!
