SUMMARY:Submarine Sleepover for Grownups
DESCRIPTION:The Wisconsin Maritime Museum offers a few nights a year where individual guests can experience our Overnight Program to explore and learn about USS COBIA and Wisconsin’s maritime history! \nParticipants spend the night aboard USS COBIA and learn about diving procedures\, firing torpedoes\, and aiming deck guns. In the morning\, check out the Museum galleries and learn about Wisconsin’s maritime heritage. In full\, the program runs from 7:30pm until 8:00am the following morning. The cost is $50.00 per participant. This event is designed for adult-only stays. DESCRIPTION:Get ready to channel your inner artist! We are again partnering with Glaze & Paint for an evening of creativity and cocktails at Sub Pub. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or haven’t touched a paintbrush in years\, class instructor Katie will guide you step-by-step through creating your own set of miniature masterpieces! All you need to do is bring your creativity (and maybe a friend or two!).\n\nThis is a beginner friendly painting class\, led by Katie from Glaze & Paint to ensure smooth sailing as you paint three beach inspired scenes! Each ticket will be good for one person and will get you all the painting materials needed\, three 4×4 canvases\, and a mini easel. Drinks will not be provided through a ticket purchase\, however\, the pub will be open for you to purchase refreshments separately! This event will be starting at 6 PM and can be expected to run until roughly 7:30 PM.Tickets for this event are LIMITED\, so it will be FIRST COME\, FIRST SERVE! SUMMARY:A Hero's Homecoming - Wisconsin Dance Theatre
DESCRIPTION:The Wisconsin Maritime Museum is proud to partner with Wisconsin Dance Theatre for this summer’s production of A Hero’s Homecoming at the Franciscan Center in Manitowoc on July 25 and 26.\nSet at the end of World War II\, this uplifting and patriotic performance returns with exciting new additions\, including live accompaniment by a ten-piece jazz band.
