DESCRIPTION:Join submarine veteran Greg Miller on an in-depth tour aboard the USS COBIA! You can learn what it was really like living and working on a submarine with 80 other crew members for over two months at a time from someone who experienced a diesel boat\, just our very own COBIA. This two-hour tour focuses more on personal stories\, so feel free to ask Greg all of your submarine questions!\nThe cost is $35 for non-members and $30 for WMM Members. DESCRIPTION:Did you know that most museums have less than 10% of their collections on display at any given time? The Wisconsin Maritime Museum’s collection contains over 85\,000 historic artifacts\, photographs\, works of art\, and documents – most of which are not featured in current exhibitions.\n\nDrop in anytime between 12:30 and 3:00pm on Saturday\, as Archives and Collections Manager Serena Stuettgen brings artifacts from our collections storage out into the galleries. During this up-close viewing of historic artifacts\, learn the stories behind the objects and discover what it is like to care for a museum’s collection on a day-to-day basis. Artifacts will include a variety of different materials and subject matter.\nThis event is included in regular Museum admission and does not require registration. WMM Members are always free!\n\n
