Workshop for Educators: Wisconsin Shipwreck Sanctuary Exploration

Calling All Educators!

Join the Wisconsin Maritime Museum, Wisconsin Sea Grant and the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Association (NOAA) for a day of science discovery and shipwrecks.

Transportation from the museum & lunch provided

Researchers, underwater archaeologists, marine tech manufacturers and scientists from NOAA will be hosting a special workshop just for educators on August 7th from 10am – 2pm. During the workshop, you’ll meet these world-class team and learn how they’re using underwater robots to explore the Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast National Marine Sanctuary.

You’ll be able to explore different marine technologies, meet renowned scientists and better understand the ongoing research in our own backyard. Who knows? Maybe you’ll be a part of a group that discovers one of the eight potential shipwrecks yet undiscovered in the research area!

All educators are welcome to attend this workshop but reservations are required. Space is limited! Please RSVP as soon as possible. Additional details will be sent after your space is confirmed.
