We All Live on the Water: Teachers as Watershed Leaders

The Wisconsin Maritime Museum, in collaboration with the Manitowoc Public School District, is excited to launch We All Live on the Water: Teachers as Watershed Leaders, a teacher training program.

The program is made possible through a Bay Watershed Education Training (BWET) grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). This program will provide teachers with a unique understanding of the issues facing local watersheds and their impact on the Lake Michigan watershed. Ultimately, participants will integrate watershed education into their districts' science and social science curricula and provide Meaningful Watershed Education Experiences (MWEEs) for their students, clearly illustrating that...We All Live on the Water.
