Treasures of NOAA's Ark and Wisconsin's Underwater Treasures

MARCH 14-OCTOBER 31, 2015

Beginning March 14th, this new temporary exhibit will showcase artifacts representing science, service and stewardship of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) including themes of history, navigation, weather, and fisheries.

We will also be highlighting shipwrecks of the mid-lake region of Lake Michigan. The communities of Port Washington, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, and Two Rivers are working collaboratively toward a designation of a National Marine Sanctuary to protect shipwrecks in these waters, and we are excited to highlight our own treasures beneath the surface just off our coast. Special programs and events will take place related to this exhibit, which will be here through the end of October 2015.
