Come learn a language unlike any other at this exhibit that explores the various methods used by mariners to communicate with other sailors, vessels, and people along the shores.
Adults and kids of all ages will enjoy learning about communication on the Great Lakes through an interactive display of ship horns, whistles, and other unique devices. Visitors can spell their names with signal flags, test their Morse code skills on a telegraph, blow whistles, and try their hand at semaphore.
This exhibit is made possible through a partnership with the Detroit Historical Society and Dossin Great Lakes Museum.
