A Variety of Facilities
The Wisconsin Maritime Museum offers a variety of facilities that can be rented for private and public events, corporate meetings, seminars, and presentations. Board Room
The 400 square-foot board room offers a unique setting for events for up to 16 people, with a panoramic view of Lake Michigan and the historic Manitowoc riverfront. Use this space for a small business meeting, or as a relaxation area separate from a larger rental using the Riverview Room or Admiral's Roof Deck.
Rental starts at $75 for the first 4 hour segment.
Riverview Room
With 1,800 square feet that can be divided into up to three separate rooms, the Riverview Room can accommodate groups as large as 150 for theater-style presentations or up to 100 people for a catered event. The Riverview Room is conveniently located on our main level and overlooks the historic Manitowoc River and USS Cobia.
Rental starts at $100 for half, $150 for full for the first 4 hour segment.
Admiral's Roof Deck
The Roof Deck offers 3,500 square feet of outdoor space with a panoramic view of Lake Michigan and downtown Manitowoc. The Deck is ideal for receptions and is located on the third floor of the Museum. The roof deck has its own food serving shelter for catered events.
Rental starts at $150 for the first 4 hour segment. (requires $100 inclement weather deposit to hold the Riverview Room if you want to ensure the back-up space)
USS Cobia Interpretive Center
The Cobia Interpretive Center's theater features a start-of-the-art audio-visual presentation system for groups of up to 40 people. The theater is available for rent in the evenings after regular Museum hours (5 p.m. during winter or 6 p.m. in the summer).
Food and Beverage Service
The Wisconsin Maritime Museum has a close relationship with many local businesses to bring you local flavor to advance your event. All food and beverage that is served here at the Museum must be prepared and served by a licensed business. If any alcohol is to be served, the Museum provides all bartenders.
